ELC Secret Reader Flyer

The ELC is celebrating Black History Month by having secret readers come and read to the students. The secret readers for the month of February are high school students, who visit the center to read books related to Black History Month to the kindergarten and preschool classes.

Each of the seven high school students was assigned a book to read and they went to four different classrooms to read the book to the students. The reading sessions were a hit with both the young students and the staff. The students were delighted to have older kids read to them, while the staff appreciated the presence of the high school students. Additionally, the high school students also had a great time during the reading sessions.

Pictures were taken during the reading sessions by Ms. Megan Bolser. These pictures serve as a visual representation of the positive impact that the high school students had on the younger students and the staff at the ELC.
