Following the medical emergency that Damar Hamlin endured, ELA teachers Shelly Starline, Jonathan Howard and Jackie Gilligan gathered students to send some Mt. Healthy love to Damar Hamlin.
Students wrote letters of encouragement, signed a Mt. Healthy football and wrote well wishes on the “R” of the #WORTHY banner that stands for resilience. Ms. Gilligan delivered these items, along with a Mt. Healthy shirt to the hospital last Saturday. We are happy to hear that Damar Hamlin is headed home and we are proud of the students and teachers that showed so much compassion.
