The Cincy Book Bus recently rolled into our Early Learning Center (ELC) on October 24th, and it visited our Jr/Sr High School in May, delivering not just books but an experience to our students and teachers.
October 24th marked a special occasion as the Book Bus generously gifted each ELC student and teacher a hardback copy of "I Promise" by LeBron James. The Cincy Book Bus has become a familiar friend at Mt. Healthy, having made multiple visits to share the love of reading. Earlier this year, it captivated our Junior High students, leaving a mark on their reading journey.
The Cincy Book Bus owner, Melanie Moore is a retired teacher and the Cincy Book Bus is more than a mobile library—it's a passion project. Beginning as an online book club, Melanie's venture has blossomed into a brick-and-mortar store in Sharonville. What makes it truly special is that all profits go towards buying books for kids with her and the employees volunteering their time and efforts.
