Attendance Information

- Students are able to enter the building at 7:15.

- The tardy bell rings at 7:25. 

- Students arriving tardy to school may enter through Entrance J (during construction) until 8:05 and obtain a tardy slip.

- At 8:05, students will enter through the main office entrance and obtain a tardy slip. 

- If your child will be absent, please call (513) 728-7649 or email owlsattendance@mthcs.org

- Teachers take period attendance at the start of each bell throughout the day. 

- If your child is leaving early, a parent/guardian on file must sign them out in the front office. Students should remain in class until they are called down by the office.

Attendance Guide/Tips:

  • When reporting absences, please clearly state your child(ren)'s name(s), grade level(s), teacher's name(s), and reason for the absence. We must have a reason, otherwise, it won't be excused.

  • Clearly state the name of the parent/guardian reporting the absence

  • "Be great and miss less than 8" - we strongly encourage student to attend school everyday and not miss more than 8 school days throughout the entire school year.
