A New Chapter Begins: Mt. Healthy City School District Holds Successful 2024 GEAR UP Senior Signing & Decision Day
The Mt. Healthy City School District is happy to highlight the 2024 GEAR UP Senior Signing & Decision Day, held on May 14th from 12-2 in the Jr/Sr High School Auditorium. This event marked a significant milestone for our graduating students as they solidified their postsecondary plans in front of friends, family, staff, students, and the school community.
The event, organized by the GEAR UP program, showcased the achievements and aspirations of our senior students. Each student was individually acknowledged on stage, recited the GEAR UP Pledge, and ceremoniously signed to symbolize their commitment to their chosen paths beyond high school. The ceremony was followed by a reception where refreshments were served.
This year's event was particularly special as it not only celebrated the accomplishments of our graduating seniors but also served as an inspiration for our junior class. Juniors were invited to attend the ceremony, witnessing firsthand the culmination of hard work and dedication that leads to successful postsecondary transitions.
Ms. Gerber, the coordinator of the GEAR UP program, expressed her gratitude to the community for their support and encouragement throughout this journey. The Mt. Healthy City School District extends its congratulations to all participating students and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors.
