Robin McGinnis, Lead STEAM Teacher at Mt. Healthy City Schools, has spent the last three years learning, teaching, living, and breathing her 3D printer. Earned through a special grant, Robin had been using the 3D printer in the classroom in collaboration with STEM projects to further challenge students’ learning. Recently, Robin has been recognized by several organizations for her pioneering ideas in the classroom. A recent online article recognized her for her directions on how to print in color on a 3D printer. In her new district position as Lead STEAM teacher, she is working with many of the advanced and gifted students in grades K through 12 on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics projects to offer a higher stimulating educational experience.
