Graduation

....
This year's graduation of the Class of 2010 will be 7 p.m. June 8 at Vineyard Community Church in Springdale. Our graduation is being videotaped by Waycross Community Media. It will be available for viewing on Time Warner Cable Channel 4, www.waycross.tv/Waycross4LIVE, and via video on demand at www.waycross.tv. Summer Food Program
....
Children can enjoy a free breakfast and/or lunch this summer at two locations. At Mt. Healthy High School, 2046 Adams Road, lunch will be served 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday from June 21 to Aug. 5. Lunch and breakfast will be served at Skyline Acres Community Center, 8500 Pippin Road Monday through Thursday from June 14 to Aug. 5. At the Skyline Acres location, breakfast will be served 8:45-9 a.m. Lunch will be served noon to 1 p.m. To be eligible, you must reside within the District and be one to 18 years of age. Those who are 19 to 21 are eligible if they have a mental or physical disability, or participated in an educational program (Individual Education Plan) during the 2009-2010 school year. New Elementary School Boundaries
....
The District has completed drawing new boundaries that indicate which elementary schools students will attend next school year based on where they live.
Students who live north of Meredith Drive (North of Rinks, 9600 Hamilton Avenue and up) will attend North Elementary; students who live on or south of Meredith Drive will attend South Elementary. Those families who live north of 2400 Adams Road will attend North; south of 2400 Adams Road will attend South Elementary. If you are unsure where your child will be attending school, please contact your current school.

Waycross Summer Camp
Waycross Community Media will once again host summer camps for area youth in grades 3 through 12. Campers will learn all about video production - Field Production, Editing, and Studio Production, and will produce several videos that will be shown on local cable TV.

Class of 1960: 50th Reunion!
....
The Class of 1960 will host its 50th reunion Oct. 15, 16 and 17. Carol Haskins, former class president, is planning to gather alumni for the high school homecoming on Oct. 15. A B&B Riverboat cruise is planned for Oct. 16, along with a host of other activities. Cost is $55 per person. To attend, Carol can be reached at 541-2938; or by email at: cbears@fuse.net

Bricks For Sale
....
The Athletic Boosters at Mt. Healthy High School are selling engraved bricks to be installed near the new ticket booth at the athletic field near the new school. Bricks can be purchased for $45 and are engraved with three lines of text (14 characters for each line). To order a brick, call Booster Vice President Sue Bitter at 702-3332.The Boy's Varsity Basketball team will be playing in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Classic, Monday, January 18th at Withrow High School. Mt. Healthy will be playing West High at 1:00 pm. Clark vs. Shroder at 3:00 pm doors open at 12:00pm. Contests and prizes throughout the day. Tickets are on sale throughout the day. Tickets are on sale through Friday for $8.00 in the Athletic office or $10.00 at the game. Come and support our team!!!

Mentors Needed

Mt. Healthy needs a few good men and women to become mentors to our students. If you can spare 30 minutes each week, contact mentor coordinator Linda Urso, 385-8127.
