...The Mt. Healthy City School District is located in Hamilton County in southwestern Ohio, and consists of three small communities: the City of Mt. Healthy and parts of Springfield and Colerain townships.

....Mt. Healthy is a culturally diverse school system, with a minority enrollment of 72%. Comprehensive educational programs span prekindergarten through twelfth grade, with college preparatory and vocational opportunities. These programs, coupled with co-curricular activities, provide the district's young people with an opportunity to develop into well-rounded and knowledgeable citizens.

. ...As the District looks toward the future, big changes are in store. A consolidation effort will come to fruition in the 2010-2011 school year, with three new schools opening to replace eight aging buildings. Voters in 2007 approved a bond issue to build new schools and save taxpayers $1.5 million a year. A combined junior/senior high school will open in January 2011 to serve students in grades seven through twelve. North and South Elementary schools will open in the fall of 2010.

...Annually, about 62% of our graduates pursue higher education in two or four-year colleges. Scholarship opportunities are abundant. In fact, last year's senior class was awarded more than $3 million. The district's strengths lie within its staff, diversity, program opportunities and student services. The district's goal is to improve student achievement and better prepare our young people for today's work force. The aim is to accomplish this through the continuing development of effective programs and working together with the community.
