Welcome back to a new school year!

The Teaching & Learning Department exists to add value to the Mt. Healthy City School District by engaging collaboratively and supporting educators so that they may impact student growth and success. We would like to introduce ourselves:

Jeremiah Henson (Executive Director of Teaching & Learning): I’ve previously worked as an 8th grade science teacher, school improvement consultant with HCESC, and a member of the State Support Team with ODE.  I love to camp, hike, and read. When I’m near an ocean or a lake is when I’m most relaxed. I’m here to enthusiastically and collaboratively continue the journey of success with you and our students. I value truth, trust, transparency and teamwork.  I’m dedicated to your success! Please join us in making Mt. Healthy the Education Destination!

Jana Wolfe (Elementary Coordinator of Teaching & Learning): I am excited to be a new member of the Teaching and Learning Department. I have been the Assistant Principal of South Elementary for the past three years and prior to that I was a teacher at Mt. Healthy North, Greener, Duvall, and Rex Ralph. Through the years I have also taught in Fairfield, OH; Green Bay, WI; Huntsville, AL; and at Talbert House. I am happiest when I am spending time with my family, hiking, or learning something new. My core values include honesty, responsibility, trustworthiness, and dependability. My greatest desire is to add value to the lives of others. I am passionate about Mt. Healthy, both students and staff, and I look forward to supporting you in your efforts to grow students and build capacity in both yourself and them.

Brock Kinser (Secondary Coordinator of Teaching & Learning): I joined the Teaching and Learning Department as Coordinator in August of 2015 after spending the previous eleven years as a Social Studies teacher and department head at the Junior / Senior High School. I look forward to supporting the efforts of the Junior / Senior High School in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment, as well as serving as the district chair of the FIP program. I am married to Patty, a mathematics teacher at the Junior / Senior High School, and we are the parents of Charlie and Abby. Outside of school, I like to play golf and read non-fiction, and enjoy serving the field as a consultant to Ohio's American History Content Advisory Committee.

Julie Robinson (Teaching and Learning Secretary): I am a Mt. Healthy graduate (as are my husband and our 2 children) and a district resident.   I have spent countless years as a Mt. Healthy room mom at every grade level, headed up many programs through PTA, and served as Mt. Healthy Band Booster treasurer for many years. I have been Curriculum secretary since 1997.

We look forward to working in collaboration with you to support a system of teaching and learning that not only makes your work more efficient and successful, but improves the educational environment for our students.

Have a terrific school year Mt. Healthy!
