Andrew Pardi, North Elementary Social Worker, was honored on Tuesday, August 15 in conjunction with Staff Opening Day for his commitment and dedicated work with students and families throughout the district. Andrew was described as “the glue that holds the school together” through his compassionate efforts in providing social, emotional, and physical essentials for students. He has a distinct ability to remain calm and patient, in difficult situations as well as going beyond his expected duties with a positive attitude.
Andrew can be found every morning at the North Elementary entrance high-fiving students as they enter the building for the day. He builds positive relationships with students and families by making home visits and staying connected with them throughout the summer. He seeks out resources such as food for the weekend, uniforms, and school supplies for students in need. “He is an advocate and champion for students and spends countless hours trying to improve their lives,” stated one of the 41 teachers that nominated Andrew. While Andrew wears many hats in his position, he always gives 110% of his energy on positive, enriching, and successful initiatives that support students and their families. “He is Mt. Healthy!” Mt. Healthy City Schools congratulates Andrew on this wonderful accomplishment.
